About Mrs. Schwartz
Hello! My name is Nikki Schwartz and I am excited to be the Library Media Specialist at Alpha Hart Elementary.
I grew up in a small town, Holden, Missouri. That is where I met my husband, Jarrod. We attended college at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. I majored in elementary education and graduated in 2006.
After graduation, I moved to Columbia, where I started teaching in New Franklin. While there, I taught 3rd grade (4 years) and 5th grade (2 years). Jarrod and I got married in 2007 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We had our son, Parker, in 2011. He is now a 5-year old ball of energy!
In 2012, I started teaching 4th grade at Hallsville Intermediate School. In 2014 I accepted the position of Technology Integration Specialist. I graduated with my Masters in Educational Technology at the University of Missouri - Columbia in December 2015.

Other than teaching, reading is a passion. I wish I could read every single book on my "To Read" list, but there are so many! Also, I absolutely love to cook. It is so creative and so much fun to make new meals.
Learning is important to me, as are the relationships formed in the classroom. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email or call me. [email protected], 573-696-5512 ext. 351
